They are made from a dough that is similar to traditional bread dough, but they are shaped and baked in the style of a pretzel, giving them a unique texture and flavor. Spring rolls and egg rolls are both types of fried or baked appetizers commonly found in Asian cuisine. Spring rolls are typically made with a thin, translucent rice paper wrapper and filled with a mixture of vegetables, meat, and sometimes noodles. They are often served fresh and not fried, although they can also be deep-fried for a crispy texture. On the other hand, egg rolls are made with a thicker, egg-based wrapper and are typically filled with a mixture of cabbage, carrots, and sometimes meat such as pork or shrimp. They are usually deep-fried until crispy and golden brown. Egg rolls are more commonly found in American Chinese cuisine, while spring rolls are more traditional in Asian countries. **

I prefer soft rolls because I enjoy the fluffy texture and how they easily soak up sauces or fillings. Soft rolls also tend to be more versatile and can be used for a variety of dishes, from sandwiches to sliders. However, I do appreciate the crunchiness of crispy rolls on occasion, especially when paired with a creamy filling for a textural contrast. **
