Electric circuits in Physics 1 are systems that allow the flow of electric current. They are made up of components such as batteries, resistors, capacitors, and wires, connected in a closed loop. The flow of electric current in a circuit is driven by the potential difference (voltage) provided by the battery or power source. Understanding electric circuits is crucial in Physics 1 as it helps in analyzing and predicting the behavior of electrical systems. **
