Geese are large waterfowl birds that are known for their distinctive honking sound and V-shaped flying formations. They are commonly found in both wild and domesticated settings, with some species migrating long distances each year. Geese are herbivores, feeding on a diet of grasses, grains, and aquatic plants. They are social animals that often form strong family bonds and communicate with each other through various vocalizations. **

Geese can be aggressive and territorial, especially during mating season or when protecting their young. They may hiss, flap their wings, or even bite if they feel threatened. While they are not typically considered dangerous to humans, it is important to give them space and avoid provoking them to prevent any potential harm. **

Geese are herbivores and primarily eat grasses, grains, and aquatic plants. They also enjoy eating fruits and vegetables such as lettuce, peas, and corn. It is important to provide geese with a balanced diet to ensure they receive the necessary nutrients for their health and well-being. Additionally, geese should have access to clean water for drinking and bathing. **

Geese serve several purposes in the ecosystem. They help control insect populations by consuming large amounts of grasshoppers, caterpillars, and other pests. Additionally, they contribute to seed dispersal by eating and then excreting seeds in different locations, aiding in plant propagation. Geese also play a role in nutrient cycling by depositing their waste, which enriches the soil with nutrients. Finally, geese are also valued for their meat, feathers, and down, making them important for human consumption and economic purposes. **

No, I did not buy geese. **

Yes, geese can eat cherries. Cherries are safe for geese to consume in moderation as part of a balanced diet. However, it's important to remove the pits from the cherries before feeding them to geese, as the pits can be a choking hazard and may contain small amounts of cyanide. Additionally, cherries should only be given as an occasional treat and not as a primary food source for geese. **

Geese defecate by releasing their waste from their cloaca, which is the common opening for their digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. They typically do this while standing or walking, and the waste is expelled in the form of a greenish-brown, semi-solid mass. Geese are known to defecate frequently, and their droppings can be quite large due to their herbivorous diet. **

Peacocks are generally larger than geese. Male peacocks can grow up to 5 feet in length, including their tail feathers, and can weigh between 8-13 pounds. In comparison, geese are typically around 2-3 feet in length and can weigh between 5-12 pounds. Therefore, peacocks are usually larger than geese in terms of both size and weight. **
