Additionally, proper construction and maintenance can help reduce the risk of ceiling collapse. **

Asbestos was commonly used in building materials, including drywall, before the 1980s. However, asbestos is no longer used in the production of drywall. If your home was built before the 1980s, it is possible that asbestos-containing materials were used in the construction, including in the drywall ceilings. It is recommended to have a professional inspection to determine if there is asbestos present in your drywall ceilings. **

No, the ceilings are not 240 cm high. **

Asbestos was commonly used in building materials, including suspended ceilings, prior to the 1980s. Suspended ceilings installed before this time may contain asbestos fibers in the ceiling tiles or insulation. It is important to have a professional inspect the suspended ceiling to determine if asbestos is present, as exposure to asbestos fibers can pose serious health risks. If asbestos is found, proper abatement procedures should be followed to safely remove and dispose of the material. **

One can hear through ceilings by sound transmission. When a sound is produced in a room, it creates vibrations in the air that travel through the ceiling and into the room above. These vibrations can be heard as sound by the occupants of the upper room. The type of ceiling material and its thickness can affect the amount of sound transmission, with thinner and less dense materials allowing for more sound to pass through. Additionally, the presence of gaps or openings in the ceiling can also contribute to sound transmission. **

Sloping ceilings can be tiled by using smaller, more flexible tiles that can conform to the shape of the ceiling. It's important to carefully measure and plan the layout of the tiles to ensure they fit properly and create a visually appealing pattern. Additionally, using a flexible adhesive and grout can help accommodate the uneven surface of the sloping ceiling. It may also be necessary to use tile spacers to maintain consistent spacing between the tiles. Overall, tiling a sloping ceiling requires careful planning and attention to detail to achieve a professional-looking result. **

To plaster sloping ceilings, you will need to use a combination of plasterboard and plastering techniques. First, install plasterboard on the sloping ceiling to create a smooth and even surface. Then, apply a base coat of plaster to the plasterboard, using a trowel to spread it evenly. Once the base coat is dry, apply a second coat of plaster to achieve a smooth finish. It's important to work carefully and methodically to ensure that the plaster adheres properly to the sloping surface. **
